Guided DIY Fly Fishing Patagonia Argentina and Chile: Save up to 50%

Today's Blog Post

Eight years ago, I decided not to purchase or build a Patagonia fly fishing lodge.  Instead, I started a fly fishing business-service called Guided DIY Fly Fishing.  My soon to be partner thought I was crazy, and he asked, "How will we compete against lodges, booking agents, fly shop group travel, and what the heck is guided DIY fly fishing?"  My reply:

"Our services and pricing will be in the middle -- between lodge and pure DIY anglers (i.e., dirt sleepers, who never hire guides).  We offer value for independent travelers/anglers, who prefer limited assistance, yet desire the very best fishing experiences via pro-guiding."

Our clients...

- Save up to 50% vs. lodge services
- Fish up to 12 hours per day
- Fish best waters at best times (maximum flexibility)
- Combine walk-wade, float, and camping
- Prefer no wine-dine services (no 1-2 hour shore lunch)
- Opt to bring their own food/beverage (we have iced coolers)
- Freedom to explore town activities, restaurants, bars, etc

How...

We greet you at the airport; You stay anywhere in town; We offer a brief tour of the town (e.g., fishing license, grocery store, bank, ATM, bars/restaurants, etc).  Then we FISH -- it's that simple.

We offer In-Season and Off-Season Pricing
