About Your Instructor
Prior to becoming a guide, FFI casting instructor, and a Patagonia lodge manager, I spent 20 years as a sales manager -- hiring/training, and working with thousands of professionals, doctors, nurses, and more. The experience, along with my counseling/therapy background, has helped me create a non-traditional, unique educational-teaching fly fishing program. I am proud to say, it is unlike programs offered at Orvis, LL Bean, or fly shops (i.e., nothing terribly wrong with these classes -- like anything they have pros and cons).
My method of teaching fly fishing is best proven by client/student testimonials.

Mark did a fantastic job of introducing my son to the sport of fly fishing with several hours of casting skill development ~ thorough, knowledgeable and superb instruction. I wouldn't hesitate to have Mark work as an instructor or guide on the river but New Hampshire's loss in Colorado gain.
