Fishing Hat's For Sale: New FCFF Logo

How important is a fishing hat?  That depends on who you are asking.  Take me for example; I am a bald headed fishing guide who spends 4 months a year in sunny Patagonia, Argentina.  My answer: it's muy-muy importante!  As for a good luck piece, some anglers swear by their hats.  The bottom line, if you're an angler, a good hat is critical.

For the past two years, I have been thinking about producing a First Cast Fly Fishing hat.  The first step of this process was to create a logo that captured my energy and the spirit of our mission at FCFF.  I had the help of Boston based, graphic designer, Andre Testa. Andrea has been the Creative Art Director for some of the top agencies in California, New York City and Boston.  When I first saw the logo that she created, I knew it was the right one for FCFF.  Thank you, Andrea; she can be reached at https://www.behance.net/andreatesta  The next step was finding the best fishing hat. This turned out to be a lot easier than I thought.  How? While I was in Patagonia, a local New Hampshire fishing buddy had a few hats made for his fly tying club (Fly Guy's of Newfields, NH).  A while back, my buddy gave me one of these hats and I have been wearing it for several months now.  I was so impressed with the hat, I went ahead an ordered dozens for FCFF.  The features are listed below, but for my needs, this is the best fishing hat I have ever worn (I prefer long visor's and breathable cotton material). The last step, was finding a local embroider.  The combination of great service and value, made working with NH Monograming, located in Greenland, NH, very easy ( http://www.nhmonogramming.com ). I am explaining this to you because I try my best to work with U.S.A. manufacturer's and local NH businesses.  In the end, I think you'll be pleased with the hat and stay tuned for our t-shirts, hoody's, water- bottles, stickers and more.  Enjoy and thanks for your support.
