Fort Collins Fly Fishing Lessons: Are You Open?

Today's Blog Post

Fort Collins Fly Fishing Lessons and COVID-19

Q1: Are you open?
A1: Yes, we are cautiously open.  We will follow best practice guidelines, including social distancing, and utilization of PPEs (e.g., mask, gloves, hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, etc)

Q2: Can you teach both on-land and in-river classes?
A2: Yes, and please refer to answer #1

Large Class -- Best Education?

Large fly fishing classes are popular and highly profitable; however, educational value is questionable.  It's not uncommon to see:

  • One instructor, per 8-20 students
  • $130 per person = $1,040 - $2,600 per day

Small Class -- Best Education?

 (4) people maximum
➤ Individual attention
➤ On-land or in-water
➤ + 6 feet distance
➤ +30 years experience
➤ Standard class or 100% customizable

Not Your Average Instructor

Mark is 100% education -- believes small group, one-on-one instruction, with fair-reasonable fees, is the very best way to learn.

He is a certified Fly Fishers International (FFI) casting instructor, and a former guide and Patagonia lodge manager.  Also, he is a professional mental health counselor-therapist-life coach, who has passed all state and national background checks, and has had extensive gender, family, and kiddo training.  His first career was in medical sales/product development, focusing on PPE and infection prevention products.
